| Amenities: Casa Blanca is a retreat center that provides lodging at affordable rates for Christian missions groups, couples or individuals to enjoy and relax while here in Mexico serving or resting as the Lord leads them. We offer comfortable beds with sheets and pillows, hot showers and full modern bathrooms. As you enter the main house you will see the charming home of Pete & Janice Van Dyken. This ranch style home has a splendid view of the bay from the inside dining area. Breakfast can be prepared at an additional amount, upon prior request, served on lovely stoneware with silverware. This cost saving service allows all members of your group to participate in all your activities. Also a quaint coffee / tea buffet where one can choose from many different housewarming cups to enjoy the fellowship near the stove top fireplace, with your group. If open air dining is on your list of things to do you are going to love the outside patio. If the Lord allows, you may even catch a view of a dolphin run or an occasional whale viewing if not you can usually hear the sounds of the waves & the sea lions. There are several species of desert plants, flowers, and birds that migrate here, so don't forget your camera. Worship Service can be held on the terrace or near the outside fire pit. You can relax under the moon and the stars that seem close enough to touch. For outdoor enthusiast there are areas to sleep ( upon request). Be sure to ask Pete or Janice about the lights on the water if you arrive at night. Maybe a scenic hike at dawn is for you. The cloud formations here are the most unusual I have ever seen. You can see 40 miles of shore line from the patio. What a blessing to see God's mercies, they are new every morning. (a brand new start, a second chance to see things in a different light :) . |
